It's essential to be able to privately message your own staff, coworkers, or pharmacy partners while managing a patient. Unlike messages, which are shown to both your patient and your care team, internal notes are only shown to the medical teams that have access to the conversation. 

Use them to coordinate efforts among providers, or just to write notes to yourself. Note that you can us the "@" sign to mention a specific person with access to the conversation, for more targeted internal messaging.

You may also transmit files (insurance cards, results, records) within these notes.
