The most successful practices on Klara announce the secure messaging option to patients who call in both on the hold / answering tone, and on any voicemails (clinical, appointments, etc.) that patients are currently using to contact you. Below are some suggested scripts that other practices have found helpful, but feel free to modify for your group’s specific needs. 

General phone announcement/hold announcement:

 “Did you know you can now securely text us your questions and we will respond to you within a few hours? No more waiting on hold, from your phone or computer simply go to practice website and click on the “Message Us” button.”
