Active patients will see the following message when they first access Klara, and will be asked to confirm their date of birth every 30 days:
Once the patient submits their information, Klara will check that the DOB entered by the patient matches what the healthcare provider has on file for that phone number. If the DOB does not match, Klara will notify the provider and ask them to update the patient's record. Once the provider updates the record, the patient will be notified that they can start sending and receiving messages through Klara!
